ENTRANCE FOR LAPHAM and PARKING REMINDERS

The main entrance for Lapham Elementary families is Door 2, which is located on Dayton Street nearest the playground. This entrance is a security montiored entrance. Door 3 is used to accommodate Capital High (alternative high school program) students and families. A few helpful reminders about parking, biking and drop off at Lapham:

Doors will be locked at all times (before school, during the day and at dismissal), so access to the building is through Door 1 or Door 2 which is where the security buzzers are located. Door 3 is designated for Capital High students and their families Student and family bike racks are located on the Dayton Street side of the building to avoid bikes and buses being in the same area at the same time.

The parking lot is for STAFF ONLY.  Parents should drop off students on the Dayton Street side of the building so they can enter through Door 2. We appreciate your cooperation with this and know that the parking limitations can sometimes cause frustration. In the interest of safety for all students, families and staff, please assist us in following these guidelines.
